Liz Kramer has always had passion for research. At Johns Hopkins University in the lab of tissue engineering pioneer Dr. Jennifer Elisseeff, Liz gained an appreciation for the attention to detail required of good science. She further honed her analytical skills in data collection and technical writing at a biodefense consulting firm in Washington DC. Upon finding the lab animal science field, Liz has found work she finds important, interesting and fulfilling. Originally brought on as an engineer, Liz has served in many roles at Lenderking including Senior Analyst of R&D and is now Director of Sales. Never a person to sit on the sidelines, Liz has been a part of the National Capital Area Branch of AALAS’s council since 2017 and is now honored to be president of this very active local branch for 2021. Leading a group of inspiring researchers and animal professionals during such a challenging time is the type of opportunity where Liz’s thinking outside the box skills can really shine.
